So Done with Bottles

These days I get really bored with the bottles and want to go straight for the glass!

Learning Business Early

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to the office with Mommy. I am learning this whole business concept and trying to keep in tune with the business world through local news!

Great day at church

Today I had fun and didn't cry at all at the nursery. I played and played with 4 other girls and had so much fun. Mommy and Daddy came in and I didnt even want to leave because I was just hanging out and laughing away. Mommy took me in to church for the last hymn and she sang while I held tight to the hymnal. I love to hold on to everything I can, epecially books and hymnals!!

A Few Firsts...

Over the past few weeks I have accomplished some new stuff! I LOVE to drink from cups....SO over the bottles. Everytime Mommy has a drink I have to have a sip. Taking a bath is very tempting when Mommy pours water over me. All I want to do is drink from the cup.

Last weekend I started grabbing bottles (including water bottles) and throw them in my mouth. I hold them in place for a little while until I decide to play with my hands instead.

I've also learned to pull up on the bumper pads in my bed. Soon enough I will be pulled right up to hang out and look over the edge!

I have also starting my scootching. I have learned to move my knees one by one to semi crawl and scoot. It gets me further than I was just laying on my belly! Mommy and Daddy better get ready because I will be in to everything soon!

5 1/2 Month Portraits

We went to JC Penney's again for my 5 month pictures....although it ended up being around 5.5 months! I was a little happier than last time, but still stayed shy and didnt give my big happy smile!

Jumping Queen!

My feet finally touch the floor in my Jumparoo. This is my new favorite activity...I love working out my legs! Alicean filmed me on Sunday when she and Kevin babysat.

On the boat!

I went on the boat for the first time today. The life jacket dwarfed me but it was such an adventure. I smiled and laughed the whole time that I wasn't passed out asleep in Mommy's arms.

First Solid Food

Today Mommy gave me a little solid food along with my bottle. The rice cereal was a little yucky, but I loved the bananas. It is a bit messy, though!

Road Trip - Dallas

Mommy and I survived our first road trip alone. We drove from Austin to Plano and stayed with Mommy's friend Jennifer. In September, Jennifer will have a little girl too!!

More Swimming - Family Time

This weekend Granna, Pop, Aunt Aimee and cousin Emma came to visit. We went swimming and hung out a bunch and had some good times!

Father's Day - First One!

Today I went to church with Mommy and Daddy and then we went to eat to celebrate Father's Day. Mommy and Daddy had a big brunch at the UT Club while I sat and talked the whole time. I love my daddy and was glad to celebrate him!

Standing Up!

I went to visit my friend, Olin with my mommy today. He is a pretty cool guy, so I decided to show off and see if I could stand on my own...and I DID!!

Belly Laugh!

Tonight Mommy was leaving to see Sex and the City with her friends and they told a funny story and were all laughing. I decided to join in and let out my first continued "belly laugh". I did it a few times before, but this time I did it over and over and Mommy and Grandma loved it!

Swimming Pool - First Time!

Today I went to see Grandma and G and swim in their pool. Grandma bought me a big vehicle float and I loved it. Mommy held me in the water and pulled me around in my float. I had so much fun I wore myself out and fell asleep in the water!

I Rolled Over

Today I was playing with Mommy on my quilt and I did a complete roll over on my own with NO help! It was a big moment. Everytime I do it Mommy says "yeah Addison!".

1st Hospital Visit

Today Mommy and Daddy had a bunch of friends over for a Memorial Day weekend BBQ. Before Mommy put me to bed she took my temperature and it was over 103. So, they had to take me to the Children's Hospital. We were there until 5:00 am and found out I have a Urinary Tract Infection. I have to take antibiotics for 10 days.

I am constantly smiling...Mommy can't get enough pictures of my happy face.

To Abilene

We went on a road trip to Abilene so we could watch my cousin Jaxon play t ball. It was so much fun spending time with Aunt Kelly, Uncle Jason and Jaxon and Luke. Jaxon did great in his game too!

3 Month Pictures

Today I went to JC Penney's with Mommy and Grandma to take my three month pictures. I was a little hungry and fussy, so it didn't take too long!
